Minutes of a Special Meeting held at the Chubbuck City Council Chambers, October 28`h, 2008.
Present: Mayor Steven M. England, Council members Kent Kearns, Dennis Stoddard, Rebecca
Ponkow, Attorney Thomas J. Holmes, Public Works Director Steven M. Smart and City
Treasurer Richard Morgan. Councilman Kermit G. Morrison and City Clerk Ron C.
Conlin were excused.
PURPOSE OF SPECIAL MEETING is to discuss 1) Sewer and Sanitation rates; 2) Review Fire
Department Equipment Grant received.
SEWER RATE DISCUSSION - Bridger Morrison, JUB Engineering, 2734 Hill View presented
the updated sewer rate model. Mr. Morrison explained the 2008 sewer budget.
Considerable discussion about the updated sewer rate model.
Mr. Morrison stated this model does not include any capital improvement funds.
CT Rich Morgan presented a sewer rate spread sheet.
SANITATION RATE DISCUSSION - CT Treasurer Morgan presented a sanitation rate spread
sheet.
Discussion about depreciation on the rolling stock and containers.
CT Morgan stated approximately a 21 % increase in rates will meet expenditures.
At 7:10 p.m, Councilman Kearns moved, Councilman Stoddard seconded, with full council
approval to adjourn meeting.

CALL OF SPECIAL MEETING
CITY OF CHUBBUCK
Pursuant to Idaho Code Section 50 -604, the undersigned Mayor of the City of Chubbuck,
Idaho, hereby calls a special meeting of the City Council to be held at the Chubbuck Municipal
Building, at the hour of 6:00 p.m, on Tuesday, the 28th day of October, 2008. The purpose of the
Special Meeting is to address rate increases for Sewer and Sanitation services and to review Fire
Department Grant.
