Minutes of a regular council meeting held at the Chubbuck City Council Chambers, March 25,
2008.
Present: Mayor Steven M. England, Council members Kent Kearns, Dennis Stoddard, Kermit
Morrison, Attorney Thomas J. Holmes, Public Works Director Steven M. Smart and City
Clerk Ron C. Conlin. Councilman Richard Morgan resigned his Council Seat on March

Meeting was called to order at 7:32 p.m. by Mayor England.
PLEDGE ALLIANCE TO THE FLAG was led by Matthew Burgoyne, Troop 379.

INVOCATION was given by Bishop Ron Peterson, Chubbuck Stake 3 Ward, The Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES - Mayor England asked for corrections and additions to the Regular

Meeting Minutes of March 11, 2008.

Councilman Kearns moved to approve the Regular Meeting Minutes of March 11, 2008
as read, Councilman Stoddard seconded. All council members voted in favor of motion.
RENZELLO SUBDIVISION FINAL PLAT - Chris Adams, Surveyor, 922 Homerun presented
the Renzello Subdivision Final Plat. Mr. Adams stated this is a one lot subdivision, the
owner Mr. Renzello wants to build a home on it. Mr. Adams asked the Council to
consider waiving ribbon curb, swale and sidewalk on the frontage of the property because
there is no ribbon curb, swale and sidewalk on down the street.
PWD Smart stated the appropriate time to request consideration of waiving curb, gutter
and sidewalk would have been at the preliminary plat stage, not now. PWD Smart
recommended the Council not consider waiving the ribbon curb, swale and sidewalk.
Councilman Kearns moved to approve the Renzello Subdivision Final Plat, subject to
clarification of possible dedications of the land on the southern border of the lot, approx
8', and having the title cleared up to the satisfaction of the City Engineer, Councilman
Morrison seconded. All council members voted in favor of motion.
2008-2009 FY BUDGET PUBLIC HEARING DATE - City Clerk Ron C. Conlin suggested the

2008-2009 FY Budget Hearing date be, August 26, 2008 at 7:30 p.m.
CC Conlin will advise the Bannock County Auditor the City of Chubbuck’s 2008-2009

GENERAL DISCUSSION -
1. There will be a Chubbuck Development Authority Meeting to amend CDA
Boundaries, April 22" d, 2008 at 6:30 p.m.
2. Mayor England stated he received Council member Richard Morgan's letter of
resignation from the City Council, Monday, March 24"', 2008.
3. PWD Smart passed a water and sewer rate study from JUB Engineers to the Council
for review. Council will discuss the water and sewer rate study at the April 8t", 2008
Council Meeting.
CLAIMS - Computer print -out claims presented to Mayor England and Council.
Councilman Stoddard moved to approve the computer print -out claims as presented,
Councilman Kearns seconded. All council members voted in favor of motion.
At 7:52 p.m, Councilman Kearns moved, Councilman Stoddard seconded, with full council
approval to adjourn meeting.
