COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES
November 5, 1987
Minutes of a special meeting held in the city municipal building,
November 5, 1987,
Present: Mayor John O. Cotant, Jr., Councilmembers Becky A. Hopkins, Steven M.
~n~sB~e~.Fullmer and City Clerk Ron C. Conlin. Councilman~Leroy S.
Meeting was called to order at 5:15 p.m. by Mayor Cotant.
CANVAS OF ELECTION RESULTS - The election held November 3, 1987 was for election
of two Councilmembers for four year terms. The ballot box h~lding the
supplies was unlocked and sealed envelope containing Tally Book, Election
Record and Poll Book, used ballot pads plus pad with first unused ballot was
opened. Councilmembers checked Election Record and Poll Book, Combined Tally
Lists and Official Record Book, ballots and ballot pads.
After a thorough canvas of the election records, Councilman Fullmer moved to
accept the tabulation of votes as prepared by the Election Judge and Clerks
and proclaim the results as final. Councilwoman Hopkins seconded. All council-
members present voted in favor of motion.
Tabulation of votes are as follows: Steven M. England=547; David A. Landon=456;
Becky A. Hopkins=431; Rodney J. Parrish=3; Leon Capell=2; Steve Landon=li
Mickey Mouse:l; Ben Dover=l; John Valenty=l; Fritz Peetles=l.
At 6:00 p.m., Councilman England moved, Councilwoman Hopkins seconded, with full
council approval to adjourn meeting.

CALL OF SPECIAL MEETING CITY OF CHUBBUCK
Pursuant to~dah~Code Section 50-604, the undersigned
Mayor of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, hereby calls a specia~
meeting of the City Council to be held at the Chubbuck City
Municipal Building, 5160 Yellowstone Ave., at the hour of
5:00 p.m., on the 5th day of November, 1987. The object of She
special meeting shall be to Canvas the Election Results.

Pursuant to the call set forth above, notice is hereby
given of a special meeting of the Chubbuck City Council at the
time and place, and for the object, recited in the call.
