Minuqes of a special meeting held in the city municipal building
July 16, 1987
Present: Mayor John O. Cotant, Jr., Councilmembers: Becky A.
Steven M. England, Boyd L. Fullmer, Attorney Lynn Winmill,
Steven M. Smart, Deputy Clerk Myrna Crapo.

MEETING CALLED to order: 4:05 p.m.
PURPOSE OF SPECIAL MEETING is to consider insurance needs of the c~ty¢
The Council discussed occurence, claims and tails. The City's coverag-e
expires 12:01 a.m. Tuesday morning, So Mr. Nield needed to call
and bind. coverage.
Mr. Nield advised the. council to go with the occurence coverage. The
council asked Mr. Nield to check on an unlimited tail and the cost.
Also, $500,000 per occurence with a $1,000,000 aggregate.
Attorney Winmill suggested that the council do a res~t~on~a__teing
"No emplo~s to drive the city vehicle except ~'fh~-~re
on call.6~ ~i~." Attorney Winmill advised the council that
he would be bringing in a number of resolutions conver~ing
operational decisions to policy decisions.
Steven England made a motion to bind coverage under the 1987 figures
that had been presented with an occurence .',~ather than a claims
made coverage with a one year tail (extended reporting period
endorsement)~i~h..d~rectiQns~to obtain $500,000 instead of the
$1,000,000 o~u'~r~n~c~a]~D~%'ssible increase the aggregate to
$2,000,000 but not to increase the $25,485.46 amount.
Becky Hopkins seconded the motion. Mrs. Hopkins, yes; Mr. England,
yes; Mr. Fullmer, yes.
The meeting
adjourned at 5:20 pm.

CALL OF SPECIAL MEETING
CITY OF CHUBBUCK
Pursuant to Idaho Code Section 50-604, the undersigned
Mayor of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, hereby calls a special
meeting of the City Council to be held at the Chubbuck City
Municipal Building, 5160 Yellowstone Ave., at the hour of
4:00 p.m., on the 16th day of July, 1987. The object of the
special meeting is to consider insurance needs of the City.
