Minutes of the study session of the Land Use and Development Commission held in the City Municipal
Building February 18, 2003.
Present: Chairman Pete Anderson; Commission members: Michelle Miller, Jason Mendenhall, Mary
Harker, Lisa Leavitt, DeLoy Stuart, Lee Merrill; Attorney: Tom Homes; City staff: Larry Kohntopp,
Steve Smart, and Secretary Myrna Crapo
GENERAL BUSINESS:
1. Discussion on the application by the City of Chubbuck to update the comprehensive plan.
Larry Kohntopp explained the maps. The area south of the interstate needs to be included on the map.
The commission discussed:
1. Servicing areas on Siphon road and what would have to be done.
2. The size of the lines
3. Revision of the urban service boundary and comprehensive plan map
Future land use designation:
1. The line stops at Rio Vista
2. Workshop in Idaho Falls
The meeting adjourning at 7:30 :P.M.
