COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES

Minutes of a Special Meeting held at the Chubbuck City Council Chambers, August 27`h, 2002.
Present: Mayor John O. Cotant, Council members Leroy S. Quick, Steven M. England, Marvin
C. Gunter, B. Kent Kearns, Attorney Thomas J. Holmes and City Clerk Ron C. Conlin.
Public Works Director Steven M. Smart was excused.
Meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Mayor Cotant.
PURPOSE OF SPECIAL MEETING is to discuss Fire Department issues and 2002 -2003 Fiscal
Year Budget.
EXECUTIVE SESSION MEETING - At 5:32 p.m, Councilman England moved to go to
executive meeting as authorized by Idaho Code (b, c) to discuss Fire Department issues,
Councilman Gunter seconded. Roll Call Vote: Quick, yes; England, yes; Gunter, yes;
Kearns, yes.
P-141 Fire Department personnel discussion.
No final action or decision was made.
At 7:20 p.m, Councilman England moved to adjourn from executive session meeting,
Councilman Quick seconded. All council members voted in favor of motion.
Did not have time for 2002 -2003 Fiscal Year Budget discussion.

CALL OF SPECIAL MEETING
CITY OF CHUBBUCK
Pursuant to Idaho Code Section 50 -604, the undersigned Mayor of the City of Chubbuck,
Idaho, hereby calls a special meeting of the City Council to be held at the Chubbuck Municipal
Building, at the hour of 5:30 p.m, on Tuesday, the 27th day of August, 2002. The purpose of the
Special Meeting shall be to discuss 1) Fire Department issues, Executive Session Meeting as
authorized by Idaho Code 67 -2345 (b), (c). 2) 2002,2P03/yY Tentative Budget. I

Pursuant to the call set forth above, notice is hereby given of a special meeting of the
