MINUTES
November 4, 2010

Minutes of the Land Use and Development Commission regular meeting held at Chubbuck City
Hall, 5160 Yellowstone, November 4, 2010.
Present: Chairman Pete Anderson; Commission Members: Jason Mendenhall, George Merrill,
James Ebom, Ron Horner, City Staff: Paul Andrus.
Chairman Anderson called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES for October 5, 2010
Jason Mendenhall moved the minutes for October 5, 2010, be approved as mailed; Ron Horner
seconded. All voted to approve.
GENERAL BUSINESS:
1. Review setbacks relative to lot size (Section 18.08.040B).
Jason Mendenhall moved that Item #I on the agenda be tabled until the next meeting;
George Merrill seconded. All voted to approve.
2. Consider clarification of zoning for lots split by two zones by Ordinance No. 241.
Paul Andrus briefed the commission on property at 140 Evans that is split by two zones
and the ordinance states "approximately" in the zone lines. He said we could ask the
owner formally request, in writing, a clarification. The commission discussed that
Ordinance change is not necessary, only clarification on a lot by lot basis by request. The
city created the issue. Paul Andrus said we may be able to grant whichever zone the
property owner prefers. Chairman Anderson requested a staff written policy for the next
meeting.
There being no further discussion, Jason Mendenhall moved to adjourn; Ron Horner seconded.
Meeting adjourned at 7:10 PM.
