Called to order~ 10:20 P.M.
Present: Jack T. Egbert, Del Peters, Bob Lilson, Rodney Pa~.rish, Jim Branson~
Allen Martin and Dwain King~orn
Mayor John O. Cotant called the meeting to order following the earlier meeting
where the proposed water and sewer pz'oject was presented by Mr. Perkins from
Forsgren, Pezkins and Assoc., Inc. Mayor Cotant named Mr. Del Peters as Chairman
and told the group that at the city council meeting of November 11, 1970 the
the council made the planning and zoning con~ission official and that hereafter
all major permits will be granted through the zoning board.
It was decided to have the zoning board meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays,
because of the efficiency that could be gained by meeting the week previous to
the City council meeting.
Meeting was adjcurned at 11:15 P.M. with the next meeting to be held on
November 19, 1970 at 7:00 P.M.

Called to order: 8:00 P.M.
Chairman Del Peters was excused.
Present: Jim Branson, ~[odney Panfish, Allen Martin and Dwain Kinghorn
After some discussion on the manual of the Pocatello planning and zoning ordinance
it was the unanimous suggestion that the city board review pages 1 through 6 and
revise and tailor to our city zoning board needs. Also that we adopt the Ordinances
as printed pages ? throug~ 32
It was strongly expressed that we have comLlete board present before planning and
zoning each area, giving it a title.

Minutes of the Zoning and Planning Board 12-3-70
Called to order: 7:30 P.M.
Present: Jim Branson, allen
Dr. James ~eilly met with the board to make a request to build a large animal
Hospital mainly to include an operating room. He was asked to submit a drawing
with dimensions and locations so..~he board has something realistic to make a
decision on.
After a discussion as to how various areas should be zoned it was decided we would
meet on the 17th of December at 7:00 P. M. and begin actual coloring and zoning
of the city map. '
