Meeting called to order by Chairman Del Peters at 8:00 P. M. Sept. 16, 1971
Present were Del Peters, Jack Menard, Rodney Parrish, Dwain Kinghorn, Dennis
Hendrick~ and Councilman Earl Romriell.
First item of business, arthur McOmber presented a plat on a subdivision to b~$uilt
on Burley Drive. These lots have all been sold. There is a 25 foot road and ~.
McOmber has talked to Joe brennan about buying another 25 feet. There is a 6" water
line already in. Mr. McOmber would like to have roads graded and would finesh roads
when sewer goes in.
Del Peters sai$ before approval could be given Mr. McOmber would have to acquire the
additional right of way from Joe Brennan.
Rodney Parrish said he did not want to accept the plat but could not stop ~im from
building because all land was sold previous to ~esolution.
Jack Menard gave his approval on building t~ese homes.
Dwain Kinghorn said the foot work had already been done.
Mr. McOmber agreed to have a copy of the plat plan made up for the city.
Earl Romriell spoke about John Valenty's plan for a trailer court. Mr. Valenty's
letter was read to the zoning conm~ssion. This same letter h~d been presented to
the city at the council meeting.
Rodney Par~ish said that plans should be made to zoning board before plans of this
type be presented to the city.
Earl Eomriell said that Mr. Valenty's plans were the same as an application and
that they should be sent back to Mr. ~alenty for proper requirements on proposed
trailer park and that action should be taken this immediately.
Rodney Parrish said that he should submit application and that he should comply
with city ordinances.
The commissipn all agreed to this and to have a photostatic copy of Mr. Yalenty's
letter made and also the plan and sent back to him stating that he must make formal
application with adequate drawing and submit to.'the zoning co~mission for approval
give a date on the completion.
Earl Romriell said that Wayne Ellis had asked about being hired as buil4ing inspector.
Rodney Parrish said that he preferred the city hire a building inspector from a
resident of Chubbuck.
Earl said that that the zoning commission should state which streets are arterial,
collector or l$cal. C~llector street should be 60 wide.
~el Peters read from Trailer park ordinance on specications, application permits
and enlargements of mobile home parks. Zoning commission agreed that new ordinance
should be adopted.
Del Peters Made motion to adjourn meeting at lO:O0 P. M.
