Present were Dwain Kinghorn, James Branson, Jack Menard, Allen Martin and Councilman
Earl Romriell.
Bob Grimes representing Boise Cascade Corp.read a letter from Roy Neider dated April
6, 1971 requesting ground in Neider 1st addition lots 9, 10, ll, 12, 13, L4block i be
zoned con~ercial.
Dwain Kinghorn told Mr. Gr~es what he would have to do in order to go ahead on these
plans.
Keith Schigbrew representing Circle K Corp. and Ralph Curtis from Mortgage-Insurance
Corp. showed plans for building they wish to build on lots l0 & ll. This building
would be a block building with glass front and would face Hawthorn Road. Parking
would be in the front.~'. Building would set back 50 feet from the road.
They have an option on the property and earnest money has been paid on it. It would
be a convenience market.
Ralph Curtis will meet with the Zoning Commission at the next meeting and present the
plans for this project.
Allen Martin disagreed with the plans and in representing the group said the did not
believe the people would go along on it but would be willing to have a meeting and
bring the ~eople in that area. There are only 5 residents concerned with tl'~is.
Mr. Curtis was to bring plans in Friday morning Nov. 5, to City Clerk (Refer to
Section 3 Chapter 3 of the Zoning & Subdivision ~anual)
The Zoning Commission requested that a form be drawn up and pri~ted for an application
form for ~r~amces.
Dwain Kingh°rn made a suggestion that names be submitted for new members on Zoning
Commission. The following names were submitted.
Frances Beck
Hugh Hatch
Wilbur Beall
Jerry Grigsby
Clare Stucki
Harvey Coffman
~oy l~iddleton
Dee Greene
Jack Menard made a motion that warrant be served to who ever i~ occupying the trailer
on the Valenty property on Valenty Road. Alien Martin 2nd the motion. All members
were in favor.
Meeting was adjourned at 9:00 P. M.
Meeting w~s reconvened for setting a date for having a meeting for Circle K Corp.
Allen Martin made a motion that meeting would be held on Dec. 2, 1971o Jack Menard
2nd the mption. The following people will have to be notified of this meeting.
