Meeting called to order by Chairman Del Peters at 7:15 p.m.
Present: Del Peters, Allen Martin, Jim Branson, Jack Menard, Dwain
Kinghorn, Rod Parrish. Mayor John O. Cotant Jr., Earl Romriell, Wayne
Taylor and Dennis Leslie was also present.
The answer given the Joseph R. Smith request as to putting a mobile home
on their lot on Burley Drive was that the street would first have to be
developed by Arthur McOmber then transferred to City ownership before this
can be passed on.
Mr. &Mrs. Gary Wilson from 346 Stuart Ave. was granted permission to put
a beauty salon in their home, providing they provide parking for at least
one car besides their own car.
Bruce Nelson inquired of the many aspects of what would be involved for
Betty Jo Bunce Fenwick to sell a lot north of her home off the Chubbuck
Road. The Zoning Commission answered all his questions as best possible,
wherein Betty Jo Bunce Fenwick has no concrete plan or action at this time.
Monte Jones of 250 Burnside was given permission to build a metal building
on his property to store his welding supplies. This was granted in as much
as this is in a commercial area and providing he would present his plan
and a drawing and construct this accor~king to specification.
Mayor John O. Cotant Jr. requested the commission to go over the map again
and make the final and necessary changes in the zoning ordinance so this
can be drawn up and accepted. Also, so the City can advertise for Public
hearings to be held so this zoning in Chubbuck can be put into law.
An ordinance on the number of animals per acre will be drawn up by the
city council.
