Meeting called to order by Cahirman Delmar Deters at 7:80 P.M.
Those present were Chairman Delmar Peters, All.em Martin, Janus Branson, Rodney
Parrish, Wilbur Beall, Larry Rawlins and Councilman Jack Menard.
Durfee Developement plans were tabled until the City Council and Engineers could
plan where the streets would go.
Charlie Frasure and John Murray brought in the plot plan for proposed trailer park.
Mr. Pollard an adjacent property owner, asked where~ the water and drainage would go.
Mr. Frasure and Mr. Murray stated that Hamilton and Voellor Engineers were working
plans for this.
There would be,three streets coming out of the trailer park. One would be on Yellow-
stone and two would be on Chubbuck Rd. The access roads would be deeded to the City
of Chubbuck. The trailer park would be 320 feet back from the road.
Plans were [discussed for Rose and Carousel Streets coming together.
Mr. Murray stated that the plans for this t]-ailer park were over and above the
Pocatello requirements. He also added that if the s ituation de manded it they would
add sidewalks.
Jack Menard made the statement that this meeting was for those for and against the
trailer park not how it was to be built. It is up to the Zoning Commission and the
City Council to see that they build up to standard.
Mr. George Lish stated that if they have a good up to date trailerpark he would have
no objections to it.
Max ~arrish stated that he would protest the trailer park unless sidewalks were put in.
Mr. Pallard stated the same.
Allen Martin made the motion that the variance be granted for the trailer court%bo go
to the City Council. F~. Wilbur Beall 2nd the motion. The voting was unanimous.
Mr. John Motheral made a written request that an area of ground be disannexed.
Rodney Parrish made a suggestion to go Pocatello and discuss with them if there was
a chance of using the Pocateilo sewer and water lines. A motion was made bF Rodney
Parrish to talk to Pocatello about th~se services. James Branson 2nd the motion.
The voting was unanimous.
Rodney Parrish made a motion that City of Chubbuck annex the protery, starting at the
Chubbuck Road going South to Quinn ~oad. The East half of Chubbuck Road to Carlsons
and West side of Hawthorne Head to be annexed to depth of property line. Larry Rawlins
2nd the motion. The voting was unanimous.
Rodney Parrish made a motion that Homestead Acres and Dell ~cres be brought into the
City. Mr. Wilbur Beall 2nd the motion. The voting was unanimous.
Recommendation was made that comolaint made against }.ir. George Piper be brought before
the City Counciland Santitation ~epartment.
Next meeting will be the 6th of April at 8 O':clock.
Meeting was adjourned at 8:30 O'clock.
