Meeting called to order by Chair:an Del Peters at 8,:~ p.~:. SUB-DIVISION PLAT - Jack J. Menard Dresented a preliminary plat for a sub- division from the Triangle investment inc., of which he is the developer. The plat consists of 27 kuilding lots. Armstrong Ch~irma::, Del Peters Minutes of a special meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission held in the city municipal building, July 20, 1972. Present: Chairman Del Peters, Zoning commission members, Wilbur Beall, Allen Martin, Jack Menard, Rodney Parrish and Larry Rawlins. PUBLIC HEARING Meeting called to order 8:05 p.m. and purpose of the special meeting is to hold a public hearing for the proposal of rezoning Briscoe Rd from R-2T to an R-3L zone. Chairman Del Peters read letter from Mr. & Mrs. Don Mitchell favoring the change in zoning. The chairman and commission further explained to those present the exact meaning of the zone change. The following residents were in attendance and all were in favor of the proposed change; Mr. & Mrs. Jack Bybee, Mr. & Mrs. Thain Christensen, Mr. & Mrs. Ray Coles, Marilyn Heward, Bethine Ames and Pearl Archibald. The subject was brought up of the trailer Earl Ellis has parked on the end of Briscoe Rd. and asked if it was to be moved. They were informed by the commission that the city had served papers on him to remove his trailer. Allen Martin made a motion the zoning commission recommend to the city council the change of zoning on Briscoe Rd. from R-2T to R-3L. Wilbur Beall seconded with an unanimous vote in favor of the motion. REZONINGREQ~EST Ross Kelley, East Chubbuck Rd. was present and requests his acreage of two plus acres on Buffaloe Rd be rezoned from AT to R-~. Commission member Rodney Parrish suggested he request at least the R-2 zone because surrounding areas are R-2. He was also in- formed he would have to apply for zone change request with the city clerk and pay the required $10.00 fee. PRELIMINARY PLAT - Jack J. Menard presented a preliminary plat for a sub-division from the Triangle Investment Inc., of which he is the developer. The plat consists of 27 building lots and is planned for the south side of East Chubbuck in the 800 block. Allen Martinmade motion the commission approve the preliminary plat. Rawlins seconded with all in favor. Meeting adjourned at 8:50 p.m. C~a~rman Del Pel~er-s~
