ALEC ALENSKIS , 505 Whitaker Rd, which is just north of the city limits asked
the commission their feeling as to putting the barns' on his property into
use for fabricating electrical or mechanical devises, e.g. fishing rods.
After some discussion Jack Menard suggested the city planning and zoning
send a letter to the Bannock County planning and zoning commission re-
commending a variance to alloW him to use his barns for some fabricating
of electrical or mechanical devises and subject to renewal each year.
Clerk to prepare letter.

and Land Investments, Inc. requesting [~ additional acreage to' be re-zoned
R-2T which includes lots facing Chubbuck Road in Mobile Manor, all acreage
to the west that was recently owned by Theo Branson and has been purchased
by Land Investment, Inc. and the Bistline property west of canal facing
Hiline Road from Chubbudk Road to the south.
Menard stated his object~nn was that the present court was not completed
toapoint that would warrant rezoning any additional property.
Branson stated he felt the same way and there was a requirement from the
city that residential homes would face Chubbuck Road in the Mobile Manor.
Rodney Parrish said they had never said they would put homes on these lots,
it was just the requirement of the city.
Chairman Peters advised a hearing would need to be held to do any rezoning.
Rodney Parrish said he was sure they would request a hearing.
UTTT.ITY EASEMENT REQUIRED on Sub-division plats discussed by commission. Mayor
requested this be discussed by planning and zoning. Jack Menard read from
sub-division ordinance which does require utility easements to be in sub-
division plats. Menard added there was a problem of knowing where to set
these easements as the utility companies always requested something other
than platted.
BUILDING PERMIT - It was noted by Jack Menard that a building permit was issued
for the Idaho Bank and Trust b,~il diug without being approved by planning and
zoning commission. Clerk told the commission it was her fault because she
had failed to notify Joe Brennan of the request from the commission.
