Minutes of the regular meeting of the Planning and Zoning commission held in the
municipal building August 23, 1973.
Present: Chairman Jim Branson, Commission members, Allen Martin, Jack Menard, Rodney
Parrish and Del Peters.
Meeting called to order at 8:00 p.m. by Chairman Jim Branson.
PUBLIC HEARING ITEMS:
REZONING MOUNTVIEW SUB DIVISION - Jack Menard, developer, requests a Residential i Zone.
Rodney Parrish moved the area owned by Triangle Investemnt be rezoned to a Res-1 Zone.
Martin seconded with a~nauimous vote in favor of motion. Menard abstained from
voting.

ZONING NEWLY ANNEXED AREA EAST OF HAWTHORNE RD. between West Chubbuck Rd. and Quinn Rd.
to an Agricultural Transitional Zone. Several residents were present from the annexed
area and surrounding area. Mr. Zundel and Mr. Weller voiced objection to being
annexed. Taxes and zoning were discussed. After further discussion Allen Martin
moved the commission recon~nend the council approve an Agricultural Transitional Zone
for this newly annexed area. Peters seconded with _~]1 in favor of motion except
Rodney Parrish, who abstained from voting.
REZONING OF TURNER SUB DIVISION - Newell Turner has requested a Residential -2 Zone
for his sub division. Del Peters made motisn Commission recommend the cQuncil approve
a Residential -2 Zone for the Turner sub division. Menard seconded with ~nanimous
vote in favor of motion.
PROPOSAL BY CLARK REAL ESTATE TO REZONE THE PROPOSED HEIGHTS SUB DIVISION from
Agrictultural Transitional to a Residential 2 Livestock Zone. Allen Martin moved the
commission recommend council approve rezoning this area to Residential -2 Livestock
Zone. Peters seconded with munanimous vote in favor of motion.
Allen Martin again requested the building inspector check bliP] ding moved on Winters
property at 123 Spraker.
PROPOSED TRA~I~ER PARK - John Valenty presented a sketch of a trailer park he proposes
to develop on Valenty Rd. Mr. Valenty was informed he would be required to request
a variance to allow him to develop a trailer park in the present Neighborhood
Commercial Zone.
