Minutes of a special Public Hearing held by the Planning and Zoning
Commission in the City Nunicipal building May 13, 1975.
Present: Chairman James Branson, Commission members Jack Menard, Rodney
Parrish, Del Peters and Ed Reese.
Meeting called to order at 7:05 p.m. by Chairman Branson.
PUblIC HEARING ITEM: Zoning of property proposed to be annexed to city
which lies on north side of S~hon Road iu the 300 block. The commission
reviewed the area. It lies between Paradise Acres which is zoned Res-
idential - 2 and Greener Pastures which is zoned Residential -2 Livestock.
Del Peters moved the Planning and Zoning~commission recommend the council
zone the proposed property to be annexed to a Residential -2 Livestock zone.
Ed Reese seconded motion. Voting was unanimous in favor of motion.
HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION ~PU~,IC HEARING IT~4: Robert Clark and Dave Johnson
represented Clark REal Estate in the rezoning request of Heights Subdivision
which is presently zoned Agricultural Transitional.
After review by Planning and Zoning Commission Ed Reese made motion the
commission recommend council rezone the area platted as Heights Subdivision
as follows; Lots 7, 8, 9, 10, ll, 12 and 13, Block 5 and Lots l, 2, 3, &,
5, 6, 7, and 8, Block ll be rezoned to Residential 3 and remainder of
Heights Subdivision be rezoned to Residential - 2. Del Peters seconded
motion with an unanimous vote in favor.
Meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
