Minutes of a special meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission
held in the municipal building March ll, 1975.
Present: James Branson, Jack Menard, Del Peters, Larry Rawlins and
Del Peters. Ed Reese excused.
Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairman James Branson
HEI..GHTS SUBDIVISION - Rodney Clark, Dave Johnson and Tim Shurtliff,
Engineer with Hamilton & Voeller, presented two proposed pre-
liminary plats for review by the commission. Engineer Doug
Jensen made the following recommendations - looped water lines,
storm drainage to be provided, future acce~ street to north,
street width should be forty feet, five foot front easement for
utilities, provisions for subdivision street lighting, eighty ~'
foot frontage on corner lots.
After discussing the above listed items at length, Jack Menard
moved the preliminary park with the two small neighborhoOd parks
be recommended for approval by council subject to the following
changes; Property reserved for church development to run north
and south, provide loOped water lines, provide storm drainage
as needed and approved by city engineer, future access street to
north, street width should be forty feet, five foot fro~t~asements
for utilities, provisions for subdivision street lighting and .~
eighty foot frontage on corner lots. Larry Rawlins seconded motion
with an unanimous vote fin favor.
Meeting adjourned at 7:55 p.m.
