HomeMy WebLinkAbout006 08 78 Recessed MeetingPLANNING AND ZONING MINUTES June 8, 1978 Minutes of recessed meeting on public hearing for the land use ordinance and land development ordinance, held in the city municipal building, June 8, 1978. Meeting called to order at 8:00 p.m. by Chairman Stalder. Present: Chairman Dee Stalder, Commission Members: Dwain Kinghorn, Dell Peters, Janet Williams and Clifford Payne. City Engineer Steven Smart and Deputy Clerk Dorothy Ward. Commission Members Becky Hopkins and Mike Metcalfe were excused. Attorney Don Burnett was also excused. Minutes of recessed meeting held May 25, 1978 were read by secretary. There being no additions or corrections, Dell Peters made motion to accept minutes as read. Janet Williams seconded the motion. All'voted in favor. Chairman Stalder said the public hearing was open for discussion on the land use ordinance and the land development ordinance. Becky Hopkins had made motion on the land use ordinance, items A thru T, and Janet Williams had seconded the motion, on May 25, 1978. Chairman Stalder asked for a vote on motion. Williams, yes; Peters, yes; Kinghorn, yes; Payne, yes and Stalder, yes. Chairman Stalder said Commission was ready to take up the land development ordinance. In the absence of legal council, the Commission asked for Page 8, (2) and (4) be clarified to the City Council by Attorney Burnett. Page 8, (a), after "measuring" strike"22 inches" and substitute "24 inches"; following line do the same. Page 10, Section 2-5, (a), strike "original and two copies" and substitute "3 copies." Page 10, Section 2-5: Final Plat Phase ---Procedure. Commission questioned if the Council wants the final plat to come back to the Land Use & Development Commission. Page 10, Subparagraph 2, (a), strike "the original and" substitute "3 copies." Page 11, Subparagraph (c), to be clarified by Attorney Burnett. Page 11, Subparagraph (e), strike "original" and substitute "reproducible original." Page 12, Subparagraph C, following (3), add (4) Bases of hearings; (5) All other requirements of Idaho Code pertaining to platting and plat surveys. Page 13, Subparagraph F, (1), strike "registered professional engineer or." Page 18, Subparagraph (b), (17) strike "vertical" and substitute "approved."
