The commission discussed access to the storage area. Steve Smart explained the
State's access management policy. The city needs to determine where it wants
the access to Yellowstone. Park Lawn would be a good place to come across as
they could put a stop light there at some future time. Allowing access by Mesquite,
Stuart, Henry, would put a lot of traffic through that subdivision.
The commission would like to have the interested parties meet before the public meeting
on July 11. Steve Smart told the commission that the city could arrange the meeting.
The commission wondered if we needed a frontage corridor preserved on Adams. Their
concept could be approved at the July 11 th meeting with stipulations. Attorney Tom
Holmes suggested that they come through the Land Use with another preliminary
development plan after the changes were made.
