COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES
November 12, 1991
Minutes of regular meeting held in the city municipal building,
November 12, 1991,
Present: Mayor John O. Cotant, Council members Leroy S. Quick,
Stayer M. England, David A. Landor, W. Dean Wood, Attorney
Thomas J. Holmes, Public Works Director Steven M. Smart and
City Clerk Ron C. Conlin.
Meeting was called to order at 8:45 p.m. by Mayor Ootant.
INVOOATION - Robert Harker, Counselor Chubbuck 5th. Ward, The
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES - Mayor Cotant asked for corrections or
additions to Regular Meeting Minutes of October 22, 1991, and
Special Meeting Minutes of October 29, 1991 and Special
Meeting Minutes of November 6, 1991.
Councilman Wood moved to approve Regular Meeting Minutes of
October 22, 1991. Councilman England seconded. All council
members present voted in favor of motion.
Councilman Landon moved to approve Special Meeting Minutes of
October 29, 1991 as read. Councilman England seconded. All
council members present voted in favor of motion.

PUBLIC HEARING - ORDINANCE - An ordinance adding Chapter 15.32 to
the Chubbuck Municipal Code providing for new commercial uses
of property to comply with existing ordinances regarding curb,
gutter, sidewalk, streets and landscaping; amending Section
18.14.040 to bring it into harmony with Chapter 15.32.
Mayor Cotant read the proposed ordinance in full for the first
reading.
Mayor Cotant declared the public hearing open,
Mayor Cotant asked for comment, there being no comment Mayor
Cotant declared the public hearing closed.
Council tabled the proposed ordinance until the November
26th., 1991 Council Meeting.

PUBLIC HEARING ORDINANCE - An ordinance amending Section
18.12.040 (f) of the Chubbuck Municipal Code to the vision
triangle restrictions on a driveway by a street right-of-way.
Mayor Cotant read the proposed ordinance in full for the first
reading.
Mayor Cotant declared the public hearing open.
PWD Smart gave an explanation of what the proposed ordinance
requires.
Mayor Cotant asked for comment from the public, there being
no comment Mayor Cotant declared the public hearing closed.
Council tabled the proposed ordinance until the November
26th., 1991 Council Meeting.
CLAIMS - Computer print-out claims presented to Mayor Cotant and
Council.
Councilman Landon moved to approve computer print-out claims
as read. Councilman Wood seconded. All council members voted
in favor of motion,
At 8:20 p.m., Councilman Wood moved, Councilman Quick seconded,
with full council approval to adjourn meeting.
