COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES
March 5, 1991
Minutes of a special meeting held in the city municipal building,
March 5, 1991.
Present: Mayor John O. Cotant, Council members Leroy S. Quick,
Steven M. England, David A. Landon, W. Dean Wood, Public Works
Director Steven M. Smart, and City Clerk Ron C. Conlin.
Attorney Thomas J. Holmes was excused.
Meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m. by Mayor Cotant.
PURPOSE OF MEETING shall be to discuss increase in water rates to -support 1990-91 Fiscal Year Budget.
PWD Smart presented the following comparisons for discussion:

Council was in favor of raising the base some, while reducing
the volumetric rate.
Discussion about base charged for larger lines, the city
can either, charge $9.00 or $10.00 one time, or factor in the
higher base rate for larger lines.
Discussion about giving 3 or 4 thousand gallons with the base.
PWD Smart was directed to prepare some comparisons, for the
March 12, 1991 Council Meeting.
At 6:00 p.m., Councilman England moved, Councilman Landon seconded,
with full council
approval t/p., adjourn m.~eeting.

CALL OF SPEC[AL MEETING
CITY OF CHUBBUCK
Pursuant to Idaho Code Section 50-604, the undersigned Mayor
of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, hereby calls a special meeting of
the City Council to be held at the Cbubbuck Municipal Building,
5160 Yellows%one Avenue, at the hour of 5:00 p.m., on the 5th. day
of March, 1991. The object of the special meeting is to discuss
increasing water rates to support 1990-91 Fiscal Year Budget.
