COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES
July 16, 1998
Minutes of a Special Meeting held at Chubbuck Municipal Building, July 16, 1998.
Present: Mayor John O. Cotant, Council members Leroy S. Quick, Steven M. England, Marvin
C. Gunter, W. Dean Wood, Attorney Thomas J. Holmes, Public Works Director Steven
M. Smart and City Clerk Ron C. Conlin.
Meeting was called to order at 5:15 p.m. by Mayor Cotant.
PURPOSE OF SPECIAL MEETING is to discuss 1998 -99 Fiscal Year General Fund Budget.
1998 -99 GENERAL FUND FISCAL YEAR BUDGET - City Clerk Conlin presented a balanced
1998 -99 Fiscal Year General Fund Budget.
City Clerk Conlin explained his concern of using projected carry over balances to
balance the budget. He stated, at times the City does not get all revenues projected, but in
past, we have been over on some projections, so its worked out.
City Clerk Conlin explained there is $63,497.00 projected for carry over into the 1998 -99
Budget.
Considerable discussion on revenue line items.
At 6:15 p.m., Councilman Quick moved, Councilman Wood seconded, with full council
approval to adjourn meeting.

CITY OF CHUBBUCK
Pursuant to Idaho Code Section 50 -604, the undersigned Mayor of the City of Chubbuck,
Idaho, hereby calls a special meeting of the City Council to be held at the Chubbuck Municipal
Building, at the hour of 5:00 p.m., on Thursday, the 16th., day of July, 1998. The purpose of the
special meeting is for Chubbuck City Council to discuss 1998 -99 Fiscal Year Budget.
