HomeMy WebLinkAbout0550 Vacating a Portion of Lariat Lane 20020 CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO ORDINANCE NO. 550 • AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO, VACATING A PORTION OF LARIAT LANE IN PARADISE ACRES SUBDIVISION; REPEALING PRIOR CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR THE SEVERABILITY OF THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ORDINANCE; AND PROVIDING WHEN THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO: Section 1. After public hearing before the Land Use and Development Commission and the City Council, and upon motions duly made and passed by each, that portion of Lariat Lane that lies within Paradise Acres Subdivision and specifically running between Lot 1, Block 17 and Lot 26, Block 7 is hereby vacated. Section 2. The City Clerk shall cause this Ordinance to be recorded in the records of Bannock County, Idaho. Section 3. The provisions of any Ordinance of the City and any provision of the Chubbuck Municipal Code which are in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are repealed to the extent of such conflict. Section 4. If any provision of this ordinance is held invalid, for any reason, by any court of competent jurisdiction, such holding shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any of the remaining provisions. Section 5. The rule requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate days, one of which shall be a reading in full, is hereby dispensed with, and this Ordinance shall become effective upon its passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
