COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES
March 8, 1994
Minutes of special meeting held in the city municipal building,
March 8, 1994.
Present: Mayor John O. Cotant, Council members Leroy S. Quick,
Steven M. England, David A. Landon, W. Dean Wood, Attorney
Thomas J. Holmes, Public Works Director Steven M. Smart and
City Clerk Ron C. Conlln.
Meeting was called to order at 4:00 p.m. by Mayor Cotant.
PURPOSE of meeting is to conduct a study session on tonight's
Council Meeting.
KASISKA SUBDIVISION PRELIMINARY PLAT - John Marshall was directed
to amend his preliminary plat and present at the April 12,
1994 Land Use & Development Commission Meeting, therefore the
proposal will be tabled at tonight's Council Meeting.
JYN PARTNERSHIP ZONING CHANGE, ANNEXATION AND PRELIMINARY PLAT -
The following was discussed:
1 Fire Station land requirement.
2 Richard Nelson wants to store construction equipment
on his property.
3 Park dedication.
4. Property is not continguuous to present City boundary,
cannot annex.
5. Will ask for utility services to be extended to the
project.
PRELIMINARY PLAT FOR WHITAKER FARMS ASSN. PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT
It was stated Paul Jensen is going to present
at tonight's council Meeting.
The following was discussed:
four proposals
1. Density question, is this setting precedence.
2. Common area.
3. Discussion about density formula.
4. North and south road stub outs.
5. Park Dedication requirement.

PRELIMINARY PLAT FOR WHITAKER FARMS ASSN. PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT
6. Self contained Planned Development Unit.
7. Discussion about Whitaker Farms Assn. off-site costs.
8. Irrigation canals.
9. Discussion about road to the south to E. Chubbuck
Road.
10. Not sure if City can get easements for a road tQ the
north. ~
1i. Discussion about who maintains the streets in the
subdivision. ~i
12. Discussion about anlmals that are allowed on property
now, but might bother residents in the PUD if allowed.
13. Traffic on Whltaker Road.
No action was taken on any of the agenda items.
At 6:38 p.m., Councilman England moved, Councilman Quick seconded,
with full council approval to adjourn meeting.

CALL OF SPECIAL MEETING
CITY OF CHUBBUCK
Pursuant to Idaho Code Section 50-604, the undersigned Mayor
of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, hereby calls a special study
session meeting of the City Council to be held at the Chubbuck
Municipal Building, at the hour of 4:00 p.m., on Tuesday, the 7 th.
day of March. The objects of the special study session is to
discuss the March 8, 1994 Council Meeting Agenda items.
