Called to order: 7:~0 P.M. ~resent: Mayor Cotant, Councilmen Leslie, Romriell~ Taylor and Thompson. Attorney Wise. Purpose of the meeting was to give the American tOacific Corporation an answer as to the city approving the water hook-up for their ~roposed sub-division and for consideratien for approval of their preliminary plat. Also to meet with P~. B. Bistli~e on his proposed Mobile Home Sub-Division. Councilman Thompson was excused from meeting after attending approx~s.tely one-half hour. ~t~ICA.~ PACIFIC CORPOR~tTION SUB-DIVISiON - J~n Nelson was present representing Mr. Andy Anderson o£ the American Pacific Corporation. After reviewing plans ~d discussion ~ounci]~_~an Leslie made a motion the co~uncil accept the ~relimina~ plat of American Pacific Corp. with the confor:r~ng of the sub-diviSion ordinance of not having a street over 1200 ft. in length without an intersection or turn around~ and subject to city water and sewer requirements~ ?~aylor seconded. Roll call ~ote: Leslie, yes; Romriell, no; Taylor, yes. Attorney ~ise declared motion passed with a majority of those present. Jim Nelson approached the co~ncil with the possibility of a ~ackage plant sewer syste~l. He would request a variance be graf. ted on sidewalk ~nstallation if he instal!a a package plant sewer system. Councilman Leslie explained the Mayor and Council had met with State Health Department m~d made request that sub-divisions be allowed separate septic systems for a period of time to allow the city to try again to get approval on a centr~l sewer system. BISTLIi\~ MOBILE HCI~E SU~-DIVISiON - Mayor Cotant mhd Council also explained to Mr. Bistiine their intentions as to sewer systems in the city, basically, the council prefers not to approve a lagoon system or a package plant sewer system. Mayor suggested the lots fazing Chubhuck Rd. should be sold and homes on these lots developed concurrently with the mobile home estate lots. Mr. Bistline made the statement he felt it impossible to sell these lots for conventional homes and he was hoping to put double-wide mobile homes on these lots. Discussion followed as to requirem~ts that identify a conventional home. ~yor mhd council made it clear that the agreement was for conventional homes end that is what they expect. Council~n Romriell made motion the council accept the preliminary plat of Biatline's Mobile Home Sub-division subject to non-approval of a lagoon or package plant sewer system, Taylor seconded, koll call ~ote: Les!ie~ yes; Romriell, yes; Taylor~ yes. Meeting recessed at 9:30 P.M. -until further notice if necessary.
