February 9, 1971.
Present: Mayor Cotant, Co'snciimen Leslie, Taylor and Thompson. CounciLman Romriell
excused for first part of meeting, attended last part of meeting.
Minutes of last regular meeting read and approved as read.
HOUSE N~,'£B~S = James Branson requests house nmmbers be issued to residents on East
Chubbuck Rd, ~yor told hi~.~this would be looked into.
PARKS APPLiCATiON GRf~T = Kent Ellis answered questions about the application the City
has with Idaho State Parks for a grant. Plar. ning cost can be retroactive. Controller
will set up account keeping records with clerk. Idaho State Parks bare approved the
City application. Bureau of Outdoor Recreation now ne.ods to approve before grant is
final. ~ satis~facto~y completed project is a high priority for another project, Each
project must conform to need. Mayor thanked Mr. ELlis for his help in submitting
application.
~CNING ~OF~,[ISSION = Variance request to put trailer on ~'ern Briscoe property discussed,
Decision was that person making reouest must have mnt~res~ in property before request
will be considered~ e.g. option to ~buy. Zoning of City map discussed ~y the city cotuncil
and zoning co,remission. City Council to go over map and report back to Zon~:g Co]m;~ission.
STRF~T LIGHTS = Several resider~ts present from Co~mntry Acres Addition requesting street
lights in their area. Mayer gave report on where they feel lights should go, City plans
to have new street l~ghts installed as soon as possi'c!e.
J~K CARS = Councilman Thompson reported junk cars at end of Briscoe. What can be done
about sm~e? Mayor Cotant said he would follow u~ on this.

SE~ER BOND.~, EL~,CTIOE = Discussion on election and securing a fiscal agent for proposed
project. Dennis suggested McDevitt contact James R. [.[ichels of idaho First National
Bank~ Boise, Idaho to submit a proposal for fiscal agent. Dermis is also to contact
local bsmks for possible proposals for fiscal agents.
Financial statement presented to Mayor and Council.
Monthly bills presented for pa2~mlent. Dennis made m-tl~n to pay bills, Ramriel] seconded.
