Minutes of the recessed meeting of January 12~ 1971 held in the City municipal building
January 26, 1971.
present: Mayor Cotant, Councilmen Romriell, Taylor and Thompson.

Motion to adopt Rules applicable to ~acation and Sick Leave - subject to changes made
at meeting made by Councilman Taylor. Seconded by Romriell. Ail in favor. Amended
copy to be read in full at next meeting.
LIGHTS = Lynn Waller was present and requested a street light for the Corner of Chubbuck
rd. and Ponderosa Street. Waller was informed that the city plans to install more street
lights. Chief Frasure is to check streets and give report to council where the lights
are needed.
METF2{S = Thompson presented bid proposal on Neptune meters from W.E.C.O.. Thompson
recommends the city purchase all future meters fro,r~ I.g.E.C.O., Ail in favor. Price
quoted for Nept~ne meter is $35.00.
POLI=~ D~PT. = Emergency calls - compensatory time off will he allowed for Police
officers when called out for an emergency. Officers are required to keep record of
e~tra t~ae put in and ti,me taken off.
DOGS = Chief Frasure suggested an ordinance be adopted on dog lic~sing and possible
fines.
BI,GET B~PORT = Mayor went over proposed budget with councilmen. Will review again at
regular meeting in February.

~N~I~.~NCE = Councilman Romriell suggested that we look into adopting trailer
sub-division ordinance.
ZONING ¢OM~[ISSION = Romriell made motion to appoint Jack Menard to zoning commission.
Ail in favor. Letter of thanks to be written to Jack Egbert.
R~iSOLUTION = A resolutdon fcr participation in a comprehensive transportation plan in
the area was discussed. Decisien was to have the attorney advise if the city should
adopt this resolution.
