City of Chubbuck, held in the City Office £uilding on December 1.5, 1970.
Present: Mayor Cotant, Councilmen Leslie, Romrie!l, Taylor and Thompson
Called to order: 7:15 P.M.
Mayor Cotant read letter of request to transfer Liquor ~d Beer Licenses of the
Five Mile Inn back to the original address of &828 Yellowstone. All agreed;'
PABKS = Romriell made report to council on his interview with Kent Ellis, representative
of Idaho State Parks. Discussion followed as to developing present Stuart Park or
buying new land for a city park. Council favored developing Stuart Park at present
and checking into the Briscoe property for a future park. ~omriell made m motion that
the city prepare an application for a State Grant on Stuart Park Development. Taylor
seconded. All in favor.
WATER LINE EASMENT = Letter from Max Whittier, attorney for Stuart's read in regards to
water line easment. Discussion followed. Leland Stuart's trailer water hook-up also
discussed. Mayor suggests inviting Arnold Stuart to January,s meeting in hopes of
settling these issues.
SEW%R ~D WATER DEVELOPbMNT PP~OJECT APPLICATION = Motion to adopt Resolution of
Governing Body of Applicant which will be Mayor John O. Cotant Jr. made by Leslie,
seconded by Thompson. Roll call vote - Leslie, yes; Romriell, yes; Taylor, yes;
Thompson, yes. Application papers for sewer and water project were signed by the
mayor and clerk.
SIGN = Leslie advised Council of a sign being designed for display along Highway
into Chubbuck.
