thee City of Chubbuck held in the City office on September 22, 1970.
Present -Maygr Cotant, Councilmen Leslie, Romriell and Thompson
Water Rates - Mr. Lynn Weller appeared before the council contesting his water
bill for the previous month. The meter at this address will be checked for
accuracy.
Meters - Mr. Grant Back representing Waterworks Co., a water meter company,
presented a proposal on water meter's. Zaterworks have a meter similar to the
one now used by the city. This company would furnish the city BOO meters on the
demand of the city for a specified cost per meter. The price was discussed but
will not be recorded at this time.
A motion was made by Romriell to pay Jcrdon Stuart for 2 weeks of accumulated
overtime. This seconded by Thompson with all in favor.
Sewer - Mr. Larry Perkins, of Forsgren, Perkins and Associates, the city's
engineering firm for the sewer and water project wa:s then given the floor to
discuss the progress of these projects. Mr. Perkins reviewed the program
completely and thoroughly with all feeling they knew more about the project than
at any time since we have been concerned with the sewer program. Mr. Perkins
stated he will be here at the regular council meeting in October and in the
meantime will have met with all financing agencies and have available the amount
of participation we can count on from these agencies.
