City of Chubbuck held in the City office on Augustt26, 1970.

Cotant said we should get a release from ~allif and Ass. and give Ballif a release
from the city on the sewer engineering contract.
Leslie estimated the cost of the sewer project would be 1.1 million and his estimate
was $7.00 per month per hook-up.
Mr. Larry Perkins from the engineering firm of Forsgren, Perkins and Ass., Inc. was
present. Mr. Perkins said we could get 5Q~ HUD grant for water improvements if
approved. Also that we have no contract with Bailif for work to set up the sewer, but
we do have a contract with him for .O~ of the sewer costs. Perkins stated that he
would rather not use the work done by Ballif. He gave the following estimate of grants
available. 50~ HUD grant on sewer collection, 50~ ~WPQa grant on treatments, and 25~
State grant on treatment. Mr. Perkins also added that we may save up to $100,000.00 if
the sewer plan is presented differently.
The mayor said we should let out bids for a new 8uto for the Police soon.
Thompson made a motion that we give the okay to the Forsgren, Perkins and Ass. to
make the preliminary report at a reasonable cost. Lomriell seconded. Ail voted in
the affirmative.
