Euchanan- How can we have a d~ ..... s+~--+~, ,~,~ run +x,,,.~ ..... ,, ~a:,x .~ Trailer ~, a~'~., ~ We, cannot
maintain such ~ street without a lot of criticism from other residents of the City.
Stuart - If nc Trailer Court on the South side cf James Street then the City can
dig up their wa+~:r ........ l~n- and remove it from '~==s yrcperty.
......u=~-v-~, _~T~ James_ Street is a ~u~lic =+r=e+~ ~ ~ *b=~ :,_~ .... we ~:~st~ maintain it.
Thompson- We are now at the crossracds and lets gat this straightened out in
best maimer pcssibl~.
Henry- Lets all give in a little and get this stroi~htened out ~efore it go~s any
farther.
Thompson - Lets figure out a way to straighten this out without any embarassment
to anyone. Ail agreed this is the proper thing to do now.
Stuart - Agreed to ~.,intain the street mntil such time as it is finished and accepted
by the City.
Discussion continued and it w~ brought out that if Arnold will give th~ easement
for the water line , then he can continue his Trailer Park on the south side of
J~mes Street.
McDevitt - Then explained the legality of a Trailer Park ~o~ Plan and why it is
necessa~- for the City to have a copy of such P!~.
Henry and Thompson - Lets exchange the P}~z F!m~ for the water line easement.
Thompson - A m~'s word should be as good as his signature. We shoed met the drawing
of the Plot Pi~ first and the Easement for the Water Line signed before a final
recorf~g of the Transaction in the City Minutes is made.
Ail agreed that when the James Street is curbed, guttered and blacktopped, then the
City will ~intain it.
~elan~ Stuart's Water Bill - An adjustment is to be made and the charges dropped
as soon as the Plot Plan is in and the Water Line Easement is signed.
Police Officer- Hen~ stated that Paul Shaw has resigned as of October ~5, 1?69,and
he then read an application for the position from Don D Frasure. Henry suggested
that we hire Frasure, but mut him on probation in case he does not work out to our
satisfaction. Thompson asked if this had been advertised in the tamer. Answer was no~
we have been looking for a replacement but as yet have not found~ a~ybcdy, until this
application came in. Henry stated that the startin~ wage in Pocatello is $~80.00
per month, and after six months they, o~e+~ a ~.2~.OO ~oer monoa rais~,~ and a~+or=~ a ,year,
another ~25.00 per month raise. Decision was to hire Frasure on a trial basis.
