Minutes of the flefjular Meeting of the Mayor and Council of the City cf Chubbuck,
held in the City Office of the City of Chubbuck on August 12, 1969.
Present- H,~n~y, I-iillman, Buchanan, Thomf.son, and Taylor.
Called to order ~:05 P.M.

Pocatello Ch~z, ber of Co~erce Brochure- i,~yor Henry sug~lested that any Cc~zncil members
that belong to this organization should suggest that when they put our their ne~
brochure they should include the Chubbuck araa in their potential future gro,~h, and
also ~ncourage any new business or indust~- for the entire area. Their maps now only '
nmme the streets in Chubbuck and do net ~ive anV ~
=,~.~.rm~cn on the potential here.
Sewer System- Hen~ suggested that if we are to put this on the ballot this fall, we
must get the facts ~efore the peopl~ so they will know what they are voting on.
R~solution # 82-A - A R~solution designating the name ~d title of th~ City Officer
authorized to sign ~1 necessary papers for the advancement of th~ Sewer Project was
r~ad in f,~l. Motion to pass the Neso!ution made by Buchanan, seconded by Hili2.an.
Roll Call vote for passage of ~esclution-Buchmnan-yes, HilL~n-yss, Thompson-yes,
and Taylor- yes. Mayor Henry was n~ed as the Officer to sign th~se yapers.
Institute for City Fin~ce Officers - Mayor and Co,oil ail agreed to send
um~y C~erk
to this meeting in McCall, Idaho on September 22, and 23, 19~9.
Railroad Law Suit Appeal- All agreed to go ahead ~th this.
Complaints- ~rk Long Meter, Brerman stated that he did install a new meter there,
and the Council then decided to leave the bill as is, 2ecause this is an accurate
reading~ and he did use all that water.
Wayne Metz La~.m Dmmage - Clerk is to check with Kruse Insurance and see what has
been done about this.
Police Cars- After discussion on gas for the Police Cars it was decided to use
Ethel Gas in both Police Cars.
Bills for the month presented to Council. ~(oticn to approve [a~nent of bills made by
Hillman, seconded by Taylor. Ail in favor.

drunk and full of pills.
Liquor Licenses - After a long discussion it was ~ecided that all Liquor Licenses
~ill be reviewed by the ~.hvor and "~ '
