An ordinance of the City of Chubbuck, a municipal corporation of the state of Idaho,
changing certain street names, namely a portion of Stuart Avenue to Josh Avenue, Sample Way
to Stuart Avenue, Kings Way to Central Way and East Burnside to Central Way. Repealing prior
conflicting ordinances; providing for the severability of the provisions of this ordinance, and
providing when this ordinance shall become effective; providing for the repeal of conflicting
ordinances; providing that this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after its passage,
approval and publication as allowed by law.

CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO
ORDINANCE NO. 644
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO, CHANGING
CERTAIN STREET NAMES, NAMELY A PORTION OF STUART AVENUE TO
JOSH AVENUE, SAMPLE WAY TO STUART AVENUE, KINGS WAY TO
CENTRAL WAY AND EAST BURNSIDE TO CENTRAL WAY. REPEALING
PRIOR CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR THE SEVERABILITY
OF THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ORDINANCE; AND PROVIDING WHEN THIS
ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CHUBBUCK, IDAHO:
1. Stuart Avenue to Josh Avenue. Stuart Avenue shall change to Josh Avenue for
the following addresses: 5482, 5483, 5492, 5493, 5512, 5513, 5522, 5523, 5532, 5533, 5542,
5543.
2. Sample Wav to Stuart Avenue. Sample Way shall change to Stuart Avenue for
the following addresses: 5480, 5481, 5490, 5491, 5510, 5511, 5520, 5521, 5530, 5531, 5540,
5541, 5570, 5580, 5590, 5592.
3. Kings Wad and East Burnside. Effective July 1, 2007, the following street name
changes shall take effect'.
Kings Way for 4460 and 4520 shall change to Central Way.
East Burnside for 4400 and 4415 shall change to Central Way.
4. Recording. The City Clerk shall record a copy of this Ordinance with the
Bannock County Recorder so the Bannock County Assessor and any other County departments
may coordinate their records with these new addresses. Additionally, the postmaster shall be
notified of these changes.

ADMINISTRATIVE PROVISIONS
Section 1. Repeal of Conflicting Ordinances. The provisions of any Ordinance of the
City of Chubbuck, Idaho,and any provision of the Chubbuck Municipal Code which are in
conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 2. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance is held invalid, for any
reason, by any court of competent jurisdiction, such holding shall not affect the validity or
enforceability of any of the remaining provisions.
Section 3. Effective Date. The rule requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate
days, one of which shall be a reading in full, is hereby dispensed with, and this Ordinance shall
become effective upon its passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
