HomeMy WebLinkAbout07 12 1960 CMi77 Minutes of the Reguler Meeting of the Board of Trustees of th e Village of Chubbuck, held in the Municipal Building of the Village of ChubDuck on July 12, 1960 Present- Davis, Mitchell and Frasure. Absent- Ward, Hillman and McDevitt, all excused for work. Called to order 8:05 P.M. Minutes of the last regular meeting then ~:~ead and approved as read. Bills for month presented to Board. Motion to approve payment made by Mitchell, seconded by Frasure, All in favor. Motion to accept and pay for Insurance on the pumps from a Pocatello Firm was made by Mitchell, seconded by Frasure,all in favor. Financial report for m~nth presented to Board. Idaho Power Contract- want guarantee of 120.00 per year or 10.00 per month for booster pump at tank site. Board all agreed to have Chairman sign the Contract. Beer License at Fairgrounds- Davis and a representative from the JC's both explained in detail their position regarding a Beer License for the Fairgrounds. After a discussion it was decided that the Board meet with the Fairgrounds Board and decide then what to do about the Beer License for the Fairgrounds. Magleby Water Account- Magleby was present and told the Board that he thinks they are unfair in charging him for water for his livestock in the winter months. The Board did not act on this matter as they want to wait for a full panel on members. Whitaker Road-Residents would like the water mainline extended on that Road. Kunz & Doty were present and explained their needs. They suggested a Local Improvement Bond to finance this. The Board will need advice from the Attorney before they will act on this. Hawthorne Road- Needs gravel where the mater line was laid. Hensley will take care of this as soon as he can Met some gravel . Hiway Ave.- The Board decided that. when they change the line from a 2 inch to a 4 inch line they will install a fire hydrant at the eastern end of the Street. Park- Board decided to get the fence now and get it installed before they make any further plans fer the Park. They can get the Fence at Jobber's Price. Meeting recessed at 9:50 P.M.
