NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Land Use & Develop- ment Commission of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, will conduct a Public Hearing at 6:00 pm on August 25, 2026 at Chubbuck City Council Chambers, 290 East Linden Ave., Chubbuck, Ida- ho. Public hearings will be held with respect to the following items: 1. An application for a rehearing to consider a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for loft -style townhomes in the General Commercial (C-2) zone. The Chubbuck 2045: Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use Map designates this area for Commer- cial development. The subject property comprises approxi- mately .4 acres and is located at 111 W Briscoe Rd, Chubbuck, Idaho. The application will be reviewed against criteria in sec- tion 18.28.020.C.5 of City Code. Type of action: Decision. 2. An application for the initial zoning (land use district) on property that is proposed to be annexed into the City of Chub - buck. The proposed zone is Limited Residential (R-2). The sub- ject property of approximately 25.17 acres is located approxi- mately 1,900 feet south of Siphon Rd, west of Cole St, north of the Church Lateral canal, and approximately 970 feet east of Philbin Rd. At the meeting, the Commission will consider whether the proposal satisfies the approval criteria for the zon- ing designation in municipal code section 18.28.050.13. Type of Action: Recommendation.
