Linden Avenue, Chubbuck, ID 83202 208.237.2400 — Fax 208.237.2409 www.cityofchubbuck.us Attached is a document projecting wage and wage -related expenses for FY27 thru FY31. Page 1 is the summary document, and the other pages show the sources of the summary information. The data is separated by fund. The projections for base salaries are built from the employee level. Wages are calculated for each employee and summarized. The projections assume full staffing. That is, there is no reduction for vacant positions. However, that is partially offset in that the projections do not include promotions based on education and time on the job. Differences in replacement salaries and delayed or early replacements are not included in the projections. The projections also do not include any added staff with exception of the Deputy Police Chief in FY28. Most of the wage -related expenses follow the percentage increases in base wages except for benefits. The cost of benefits is driven by the health care plan. The health care plan has seen several years of high medical claims which impact the cost of the plan. The projections assume the high medical claims will continue although medical claims so far in FY26 are running lower. The benefits estimate also assumes full staffing.
