RE: Council Approval of Fuji's Alcohol License Transfer
Fuji Steakhouse is currently operating and licensed at 150 Bullock St, Ste 8. They are now
nearing the completion of their new location at 220 Bullock St. Fuji is preparing to begin
operations at their new location in June. Upon opening their new location, operations will cease
at their original location.
Upon moving their business location, Fuji has applied to transfer their City issued alcohol
license. The transfer of license will allow the restaurant to utilize their existing license at their
new location. Fuji will not be able to utilize the license at both locations; only the new location.
Operations, sales, and business activities conducted at the new Fuji location will remain the
same.
Fuji has transferred their alcohol license with both the State of Idaho and Bannock County. In
conjunction with the State and County, Fuji has submitted their application to transfer their
existing alcohol license with the City of Chubbuck.
Chubbuck municipal code 5.16.070 establishes that alcohol licenses may be transferred upon
approval of City Council.
Fuji has completed their application for transfer which has gone through the staff approval
process. In addition, they remitted payment and the supporting documentation of State and
County licenses and transfers.
We recommend the approval of Fuji's alcohol license transfer.
