RE: Council Approval of Maverick's Alcohol License Transfer
Upon Maverick having a legal name change from Maverick Inc to Maverick Group LLC,
Maverick has applied to transfer their City issued alcohol license to their new legal business
name. The transfer of license will allow their existing license to reflect their new legal name.
Operations, sales, and business activities conducted at the Chubbuck Maverick will remain the
same.
Maverick has transferred their alcohol license with both the State of Idaho and Bannock County.
In conjunction with the State and County, Maverick has submitted their application to transfer
their existing alcohol license with the City of Chubbuck.
Chubbuck municipal code 5.16.070 establishes that alcohol licenses may be transferred upon
approval of City Council.
Maverick has completed their application for transfer which has gone through the staff approval
process. In addition, they remitted payment and the supporting documentation of State and
County licenses and transfers.
We recommend the approval of Maverick's alcohol license transfer.
