The above information is to be in writing from ~cOmber and kept ~ith the Preformance Bond until all work is complete. New Extensions- Hamilton asked the decision of the Board on where to lay the new lines as money permits. He estimates we can lay about 2600 feet of new line. If ~e do go south with the new line this would take us to Lou Lane and would give about 50 pounds pressure in a fire hydrant at that location. Sunday Closing-Valenty stated that some of the businessmen had approached him and asked that they be allowed to start the sale of beer on Sun~ay at Noon instead on 3:00 P.M. Hensley reported that the situation is good now. Valenty- w~At should be done is that we should go tb the State Legislature and get' them to fix it so everyone has to do the same thing, either all be open or all be closed. After much discussion it was finally ~ecided to let it stay at 3:00 P.M. for the rest of this year and then the first Sunday in January let them try opening for sale of beer on Sunday at Noon and see how this works out and any further decision on the matter will be taken up at the next reguler meeting in January. New Business- Speed limit in Chubbuck. C.E.Aldrich, District Engineer says the State will post 35 M.P.H. speed zone through Chubbuck, but that if they do it must be 85% enforced. After some discussion the Board ~ecided that the best place for the three crosswalks would be at the following locations- Lou Lane, Intersection at Chubbuck goad and Yellowstone Highway, and at Kennedy's. Bell Trailer Court- Bell b~ught an acre south of his present Trailer Par~ and he wants to know that if he hooks on to the Main mater Line there will he be subject to 2 water charges.. The Board feels that if he did do this he would be subject to 2 chargel as it is an additional connection.. Will the city put in a fire plug there?. He will help with the work. The Board decided that he can hook on his own line or pay additional charges, and as for the fire plug they have no answer ~et. They will have to get an estimate of cost first, Caldwell said that in Alameda the cost of a fire plug installed is about 300.00, MacBeth Plumbing- wants Village to collect for some work he did on connecting water to a Davidson Constructed Home and then have the Village pay him for this wo~k.~ Call-ell stated that it against the Law for the Village to do this, even if the Village wanted to.
