Called to Order 8:05
PurpoSe of meeting- ~eceiving and opening Bids for Sale of General
Obligation Bonds in the amount of ~30,000.00.
Bids as follows:
State of Idaho, Department of Public Investments - h~ interest.
Lincoln Ure, Bonding Co. - h and 3/~% interest..
Motion mas made by Valenty and seconded by ~ard to accept the bid of
d½% interest of the State of Idaho, Department of Public Investments.

~inutes of the recessed meeting of October 21, 1957 of the Board of
Trustees of the Village of Chubbuck, held in the Municipal Building of
the Village of Chubbuck on October 23, 1957.
Present- Fenv~ck, Frasure, Valenty, Hillman, Ward and Caldwell.
Called to Order 7:hO P.M.
Purpose of meeting-Study and discuss a proposed Ordinance to stop
consumption on or in pre~ises of licensed stores, on Sunday. of Beer.
After a brief discussion the meeting was recessed at 8:05 P.M. till
after the special meeting.
Meetir~ called to order again at 8:17 P.M.
Continuation of bitter and leng~h~ discussion on sales and eonsumption
of beer on Sunday, between Board members and licensed operators. Finally
all agreed to close sales and consumption of beer on Sundays until 3 P.M.,
for a reasonable length of time. This system is to be tried on an honorary
basis, starting Sund~y October 27, 1957. The business men are to meet
again with the Board on ~cember 9, 1957 to see if this system has helped
the situation..
