CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO
RESOLUTION No. 2 - 2007
WHEREAS,. Gate City Youth Soccer League, Inc. ("GCYSL") provides. recreation to the
area youth through the maintenance of a soccer program;
WHEREAS, GCYSL has requested the City provide aid in maintaining the Bannock
County Fairgrounds soccer. fields;
WHEREAS, the City does not have the personnel to help maintain those fields;
WHEREAS, the City does have an excess mower that is in serviceable condition and is
not needed for current City use;
WHEREAS, the City is willing to lease the mower to GCYSL provided they use their
own personnel to operate the mower in maintaining the Bannock County Fairgrounds soccer
fields;
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the reasonable rental on an annual
basis for the mower is One Thousand Dollars ($1,000) per year for each- of Five (5) years;
WHEREAS, the City Council authorizes the mayor and clerk to enter into a Personal
Property Lease with GCYSL in accordance with Idaho Code § 50 -1407.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of
Chubbuck as follows:
1. The council declares that the .mower described as personal property not otherwise
needed for City purposes a# this time.
2. The Gate City Youth Soccer League, Inc. provides a benefit to area youth including

those of the City of Chubbuck in maintaining an excellent soccer program.
3. The City desires to aid GCYSL in maintaining certain soccer fields including the
soccer fields at the Bannock County Fairgrounds and authorize the mayor and clerk to enter into
a personal property lease, leasing to GCYSL a mower that is personal property not needed at this
time for City purposes.
