at 8:01 P.~.
Minutes of the Regular ~eeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Chubbuck
held in the ~unicipal Puilding of the Vill.~ge of Chubbuck on September 10, 1957.
Present - Fenwick, ~vard, Valenty and Caldwell.
Absent - Frasure and Hillman.
Meeting called to order 8:05 P.M.
~n~tes of the last regular meeting and also the recessed meeting then read and
a~proved as read.
Bills for the month then presented to Board· Motion to approve payment of bills
made by Fenwick, seconded by ~ard. All in favor· Bills as follows;Pob Foletti-195.00,
County Commissioners-?U.OO,Telephone-l~.6h, Idaho Power-6~.?O, Continental Oil-2?.dl,
Idaho State Journal-82.65,~.Chubbuck Service-lO.25,&9.00, Po~er-155.29, Brennan-.85,
and ~aterworks Equipment-Il3.38.
The bill from Bannock Electric is to be held back till work is completed.
Financial report then presented to Board.
Delinquent water accounts- Valenty reported that John Pierce will work onthese
ac c ~unts ·
Old Business- Pump Repairs, moss of the work has been done.
Stuart Plat & Park- Motion to approve that portion of Plat that is ready for
subdivision now with ~5 lots, (Ultimmte-l~a lots$ made by ~ard, seconded by
Fenwick. Roll call vote for approval of Plat. Fenwick - yes

Valenty - yes
H~yfield Airport - Valenty will sign complaint if residents do not sign it.
Ordinance # hO - Mend liquor ordinance to conform with State Law, read in full
by Cal~ell. Motion to suspend the rules and read once in full and twice by title
made by Fenwick, seconded by ~'ard. Roll call vote. Fenwick - yes

Ordinance # ~0 then read twice by title by Caldwell. Roll call vote for passage
of Ordinance # aO. Fenwick - yes

New Business -Hensley back 'on duty as of Sept.9, 1957. ~hile off duty he attended
a Fire School in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Motion for allowance of ~30.00 for expenses at
Fire School ma~e by Fenwick, seconded by ~ard. All in favor. Paid from General Fund.
Delivery Trucks- Valenty reported that Business men asked for an Ordinance to
prohibit delivery trucks from parking in front of businesses· Board decided that
Business men should as~ drivers to deliver at back doors and not spend money on an
Ordinance.
Idaho Bank & Trust Co. - Mr. Stienbrink would like the Village checking accounts.
To be discussed when full Board is in session.
Library Service- John Borden explained Library Service for Chubbuck and presented
a written plan to Board. To be discussed at a full Board meeting·
Petition by John & Judie Newsom- to have Pine Tavern taken into Village. Petition
presented to Board. To be discussed ~hen all Board members are present·
P.U.O.* Caldwell suggested that Chubbuck join with other municipalities and
petition P.U.G. for Summer-irrigation rates and cut power bill to 1/3 of the
present bill.
