APPLICANT:
Gate City Christian Church, 202 W. Siphon Road.
PROJECT TITLE:
Parking expansion and remodel - Temporary Double-Wide.
LOCATION:

PURPOSE OF REVIEW:
Approval of Temporary Double-Wide and site plan.
Present: Mayor Steven M. England, Attorney Thomas J. Holmes, Steve Smart, Ron Osborn, Ron
Conlin, Randy Severe, Ray Griffin, Eric King and Merlin Miller.
Dale Humphries, Gate City Christian Church presented the proposed site plan, stating instead of
the structure approved at the July l2t\ 200S DR Meeting they would like to add an
additional 24'xS81 temporary double-wide trailer. There is a 24'xS8' trailer there now.
Design Review Committee reviewed the inside building plans.
Pastor John Robinson stated this is temporary until they can go ahead with their original
permanent structure.
Design Review Committee approved the site plan with additional 24'xS8' double-wide trailer,
subject to the following conditions:
1. (Hard pack gravel), All Purpose road to the garage to north.
2. Storm water drainage is to be retained on site. Gate City Church is required to work
with City Engineer to meet regulations.
3. 10' Landscaping along Siphon Road..
4. Curb, Gutter and sidewalk along Siphon Road.
S. Required to have a radius type street approach.
6. Required to install a knox box on temporary double-wide.
7. Site lighting is required to meet City Code.
8. When the permanent structure is built, the temporary structures will leave.
9. This approval will be re-visited in 18 months.
10. Gate City Church is required to provide two sets of plans to BI Ray Griffin.

DESIGN REVIEW MEETING APPLICATION
The purpose of this application is to establish a meeting and review time with the City of
Chubbuck Design Review Team consisting of the Mayor, Building Official, City
Planner, City Engineer,>FirCo' Marshal, Police Chief and other City staff as required.
The Design Review T~arnmeets every Tuesday morning between the hours of
10:30 and 11:30 AM.
This team will workin\lnisonJ with youJ to establish the criteria for your project as it
relates to the adoptedo~ina.nces of the City of Chubbuck. Keep in mind, this is an
informal review and is only conducted on Submitted applications. This is a review team
not a design team. ProVide'(lO) ten sets of drawings, (8 1/2 X I 1), at least eight days in
advance of your schedllled,meetiug. Formal review of your plans or project by City
Staff is conducted after,fonnal application. Once you schedule your Design Review,
it is very important to keep that appointment so others can be scheduled accordingly.

PURPOSE OF REVIEW: Site Plan Approval.

Mr. Snyder stated the ptoj~cti~pennatlent, energy efficient and economical.

Mr. Snyder stated theYare,.oing to sprinkle the entire structure. Base on their budget the project
will be buill in phases.
Mr. Snyder said the Sanctnarywill seat 364 people with possible growth of 450 people.

Discussion about whethen)1' not the proposal should go before the Land Use & Development
Commission as a conditional permit.
