HomeMy WebLinkAbout04CHUBBUCK i n A u n Quarterly Newsletter Volume 10, Issue 2 April 2025 Message from the Mayor: Friends, In the book of Proverbs, chapter 29, verse 18, it states, and I quote, "Where there is no vision, the people parish..." It is important for us to make and carry out plans. So, we may well ask, where should those plans come from? Well, we elect and call upon many to lead us, and they certainly should work hard towards making things better for all. But might I suggest that if plans are ever going to do the good we need it is going to take the absolute best efforts of us all. We have been working on an update for the City of Chubbuck's Comprehensive Plan. This encapsulates a vision for the direction of our city and will in one way or another effect all of us. There will be an opportunity for you to review and make comments about this plan. It will be on the Cities Website from about April 7 through April 22. Make sure to visit the website and become a part of the vision for the future of this fabulous community that you live in. With that being said, those that are employed by the city, as well as those that serve on councils and commissions, are working hard to establish a vision for Chubbuck. I want to commend each of these individuals for their earnest efforts. I recommend that we all do this for our own lives also. In finding your personal vision here are a few things to consider. 1. Some visions are meant to be acted upon immediately. 2. Other visions are meant for the future. 3. Your vision is often waiting on you. 4. When you are given a vision, you have the power to make it happen. Let us all work together, and independently, to make exciting things happen for this wonderful area we live in. It is going to take our best to make it happen. Let's believe, the best is yet to come. Sincerely, Mayor Kevin England ............................................................................................................. IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
