OF THE VILLAGE OF CHUBBUCK HELD IN THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING
IN THE VILLAGE OF CHUBRUCK ON TUESDAY 11[TH FEBY 1956
THE MEETING WAS CALLED TO ORDER AT 8.25P.M.
MEMBERS PRESENT WERE MR VALENTY WARD FENWICK AND HANSEN.
MR FRASURE WAS ABSENT. THE VILLAGE ATTORNEY WAS ALSO IN ATTENDEANCE.
MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING WERE THEN READ AND APPROVED AS READ.
BILLS PAYABLE FOR THE MONTH WERE THEN READ. MOTION TO APPROVE PAYMENT
WAS MADE BY MR HANSEN AND SECONDED BY MR WARD.
OLD BUSINESS. BONDING OF THE POLICE JUDGE HAS BEEN TAKEN CARE OF BY
THE TERRELI. INSURANCE COMPANY" OF POCATELLO.
THE SAFE FOR THE VILLAGE WAS DISCUSSED BUT AGAIN NO DECISION WAS
ARRIVED AT.
IT WAS DECIDED THAT THE VILLAGE CLERK BE INSTRUCTED TO WRITE A LETTER
TO MR HERBERT MAGLEBY INFORMING HIM OF THE INCREASE IN HIS WATER
CHARGES ON ACCOUNT OF THE STOCK THAT HE HAS ON HIS PROPERTY.
A MOTION WAS MADE BY MR FENWICK AUTHORISING THE VILLAGE CLERK
TO HAVE LICENCE APPLICATIONS MIMEOGRAPHED BY CARL EGBERT AND ALSO TO
NOTIFY BUSINESSES THAT A LICENSE TO OPERATE WILL NOW BE NECESSARY
FOR THE CARRYING ON OF BUSINESS IN THE VILLAGE. SECONDED BY MR HANSEN
ALL MEMBERS WERE IN FAVOUR. AND MOTION WAS CARRIED.
NEW BUSINESS MR FRED PARRISH REQUESTS THE VILLAGE TO ACCEPT THE
EASEMENT DEED OF PARRISH LANE. MOTION TO ACCEPT'WAS MADE BY MR WARD
AND SECONDED BY MR FENWICK. ALL IN FAVOUR AND MOTION WAS CARRIED.
REGARDING THE EXTENSION OF CHUBBUCK CITY LIMITS. THIS WAS ADJOURNED$
UNTIL TUESDAY 28TH FEBRUARY AT 8.OP.M.
MEETING RECESSED AT 9.30P.M. UNTIL TUESDAY 28TH FEBRUARY 1956.
