Street for Home Depot

Rowland, Tom Holmes, Eric King, Ray Griffin, Steve Smart, Myrna Crapo
The representative from Price Management discussed:
The closing with Home Depot hasn't taken place yet.
The mall will be impacted by Home Depot:
1. Traffic across their property would be excessive
2. Home Depot should bear their share ofthe impact on the street
3. Street not designed for heavy trucks driving across them
4. The cost should include maintenance, snow removal, capital costs
They are concerned with two issues:
1. It is not fair for the mall to bear the full costs.
2- They are competing on business being recruited.
The road could become a public road maintained by the city and they would be willing to
deed it to the city.
The city will consider taking over the road from Yellowstone thm to Hawthorne Road. The mall
would need 60 days for the anchor stores to OK the proposal, after they get it.
The mall will give the city what they have as far as the lease from Brenaman's on the entrance by
the gas station, they don't own the property.
The city will evaluate the road proposal and get back with them. Permission was given to the
city to do core drilling on the road.
