PURPOSE OF REVIEW: Wants to put up sign for his apartment complex at 311, 313 and 315 W. Chubbuck Road. Present: Mayor John O. Cotant, Attorney Tom Holmes, Jerry Rowland, Ray Griffin, Merlin Miller, Ron Conlin, Jim Phelps and Larry Kohntopp. . Jared Klinger was present to ask for guidance so he can install a sign at the entrance between D & S Electric and the residence to the east. The entrance go back to 311, 313 and 315 West Chubbuck Road. Mr. Klinger said the sign is approx 4'x4'. Larry Kohntopp said he could remove some ofms sidewalk there now and install the sign. Mayor Cotant suggested he contact the resident to the east and ask ifthey will let him install the sign just inside their fence. They might charge a fee. Mr. Klinger was told the bottom of the sign is required to be a minimum of 10' high. Merlin Miller said the sign pole is required to be a minimum of3' from the fire hydrant. lVIr. Klinger was told it would be good ifhe would put the address of the apartments on the sign. Mr. Klinger said he will. Design Review Committee approved the proposed sign. ~.""-'lii.. . . . ... CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO DEVELOPMENT REVIEW MEETING APPLICATION The purpose of this application is to establish a meeting and review time with the City of Chubbuck Development Review Team consisting of the: Building Official, City Planner, City Engineer, Fire Marshal and other City staff as required. The Development Review Team meets every Tuesday morning between the hours of 10:30 and 12:00 Noon This team will work in unison, with you, to establish the criteria for your project as it . . relates to the adopted ordinances of the City of Chubbuck. Keep in mind, this is an informal review and is only conducted on submitted applications. This is a review team not a design team. Provide (8) eight sets of drawings at least one week in advance of your scheduled meeting. Formal reviews of your plans or project by City staff is conducted after formal application.
