BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO
The Board of Trustees for the Village of Chubbuck met in regular
session in the offices of Willis R. Ward in the Village of Chubbuck~
Idaho, Tuesday at 8 p.m., January 10, 1950, in accordance with Ordinance
No. 1 of t~ Village of Chubbuck, providing that regular meetings of
the Board be held on the second Tuesday of each month.
J. O. Cotant, Chairman of the Board, called the meeting to order.
Roll was calledand those present were: W. R. Ward, John R. Valenty,
'Enoch Cox and J. O. Cotant. E. A. Stuart, absent.
Minutes of the previous meeting of the Board of Trustees of the
Village of Chubbuck, Idaho, held December 29, 1049, were read, and there
being ne objections, alterations or corrections to same, the minutes were
approved.
Mr. Frasure of Myrtle's Place, Village of Chubbuck, Idaho, was present
and asked regarding Village beer license, and was advised by the Board of
Trustees that he could continue to sell beer on Sundays until such time
as the village was organized to take care of such business.
The Board decided that it would take no further action on organizating
until after the necessary 20 days had elapsed after the publication of the
Notice of Appeal of said Village, if such appeal is made, which date would
not probably be until the next regular meeting.
Mr. John Black, attorney, was present, and an open discussion was
held regarding the Village of Chubbuck, but no action was taken by the
Board.
At 9:30 p. m. it was moved by W. R. Ward and seconded by John
R. Valenty, that the meeting adjourn, as there was no further business
to come before the meeting. Voting in favor of adjourment - W. R. Ward,
John R. Valenty, Enoch Cex and J. O. Cotant. Meeting adjourned.
