T~ VILLAGE OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO.
A special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Chubbuck,
Idaho, was held on the 29th day of December, 1949, at 8:00 p.m. in the of-
rices of W. P~. ~¥ard in the Village of Chubbuck, Idaho. The meeting was held
in pursuance to call and consent for the holding of said meeting fixed at
the meeting of December 16, 1949. There were present at said meeting J. O.
Cotant, W. R. Ward, John R. Valenty and Enoch Cox.
The ~nutes of the first meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village
of Chubbuck, Idaho~ held on December 16, 1949, were read, and there being no
objections, alterations or corrections to the same, the said Minutes were ap-
proved.
The first business to come before the meeting was the appointment of a
Clerk and Treasurer of the Village of Chubbuck. Upon motion of W. R. ~¥ard,
seconded by John H. Valenty, Roy L. Getty was nominated for the position of
Clerk and Treasurer of the said V~]lage. There being no further nominations,
the Chairman called for a vote of the meeting, and upon roll call the vote
was as follows:
W. R. Ward - Aye
John R. Valenty- Aye
Enoch Cox - Aye
Whereupon, the Chairman announced that Roy L. Getty was the duly appointed
Clerk and Treasurer of the Village of Chubbuck.
Whereupon, the said Roy L. Getty executed his Oath of Office in the statu-
tory form.
Whereupon, W. R. Ward introduced and proposed the adoption of Ordinance No.

1 of the Village of Chubbuck, Idaho, providing for regular meetings of the
Board to be held on the second Tuesday of January, 1950, and upon the sec-
ond Tuesday of each month thereafter, and for the calling of special meet-
ings of the Board. The said Ordinance was read in full, both in title and
in substance.
Wher~eupon, it was moved by W. R. Ward, seconded by John R. Valenty, that
the rules be suspended, that said Ordinance be read once in full and twice by
title and placed upon its final passage.
Whereupon, the Chairman called for a vote of the meeting, and upon roll
call the vote was as follows:
W. R. Ward - Aye
J. O. Cotant - Aye
John R. Valenty - Aye
Enoch Cox - Aye
Whereupon, said Ordinance was read once in full and twice by title and
placed upon its final passage.
Whereupon, the Chairman called for a vote on the passage of the Ordi-
nance, and upon roll call the vote was as follows:
W. R. Ward - Aye
J. O. Cotant - Aye
John R. Valenty- Aye
Enoch Cox- Aye
Whereupon, the Chairman announced said Ordinance to be passed and ap-
proved and ordered its publication in the Idaho State Journal, a legal news-
paper published in Pocatello, Bannock County, Idaho.
There was a discussion before the Board by various residents of the Vil-
lage in regard to future policies of the Board, but no definite action was
taken on any matters of discussion.
There being no further busiuess to come before the meeting the same was~
upon motion duly made, seconded and unanimously carried, adjourned.
