RE: ICCU Storage Building
Dear Stewart:
Our office has reviewed the construction drawings and stormwater report for the above referenced
development dated March 26, 2019 and March 13, 2019 and has the following comments:
1. The following items from the Design Review Meeting held on April 16, 2019 should be shown on
the plans:
a. The access drive from Burley Drive should be paved.
b. A landscape buffer is required against residential areas (west side of property).
c. Area of landscaping should be at least 5% of the total parking area.
d. Existing dual water services should be tied together upstream of the water meter (in
water meter box) or one service line should be abandoned at the main.
2. Stormwater Report:
a. Per Table 2-1 of the PVSDM, the minimum storage volume should be 0.5” of runoff from
the entire site. The reported runoff volume is less than this minimum. Please update the
report to address at least the minimum storage volume.
b. If the Bowstring Method is intended to be used for a design storm greater than the 0.5”
minimum, the allowable release rate should be changed to zero since there is no system
the pond will be discharging to. The current calculations show a discharge of 0.32 CFS.
c. If the updated stormwater report indicates a change to the detention pond is required,
the plans should be updated.
Please revise / address all of the above items and resubmit an electronic copy of the plans and
stormwater report. If there are any questions regarding this matter, please feel free to contact us.
